WOOLS OF NEW ZEALAND PARTNERS
EXHIBIT AT HIGH POINT

MARIETTA, GA, September 10, 2010—Rug manufacturer partners of Wools of New Zealand will exhibit at High Point Market, Oct. 16-21, aiming to reach furniture retailers as well as designers and home furnishing specialty stores. Some, such as Momeni and Shaw Living, have returned to the market after an absence.

“We are excited to once again have a permanent home at this very important market and are hoping for more of the same great customers that we greeted in the past,” says Marlys Giordano, Director of Marketing and Product Development for Momeni.

After a three-year absence, Shaw Living returned to High Point this past spring and is back again this fall, according to Kim Barta, brand manager of Shaw Living. “There’s a good array of customers who go to High Point, especially national furniture chains, and with markets becoming more regionalized, High Point is important for the southeastern U.S. We had customers tell us that they missed us in High Point. For some, this is the only market they attend and it is important that Shaw be there as well,” Barta says.

Despite touch economic times, there is optimism. Oriental Weavers has seen acceleration in business since late last year, according to Aaron Gray, marketing director of OW. “We hope that momentum will continue through the fourth quarter of 2010. Our last two shows in High Point have been considered successful, and we expect nothing less for the upcoming show,” Gray explains.

Giordano is also positive, saying, “HP has always been a very designer-driven market, so we expect to see many designers as well as new and existing customers.”

Partnership with Wools of New Zealand is an advantage, according to Giordano, who stresses, “Wools of New Zealand is a great brand and it has helped sway many-a-decision in regards to our offered product. We are proud to be a partner.”

Offering rugs that are branded by Wools of New Zealand adds value in several ways. “Not only are you buying the finest fiber in the market, but Wools of New Zealand does a great job in promoting their brand and educating both the retailer and the consumer on their wool,” stresses Gray.

The following is a quick look at what these Wools of New Zealand partners will show at High Point.
